Small family business, friendly service, hospitable and endeavored to every guest. Home cooking. With cozy beer garden, parking in front of the house available, for the cyclists there are parking spaces in the area of ​​the beer garden. The inn is located in a small and very quiet, and idyllic community in Altmühltal. The access to the inn is bar-free and thus suitable for disabled people.

In Walting there is a small beer garden just a few kilometers from the Altmühl route. The special thing is that food is mainly from the region. Ordering food takes a little longer but is always freshly prepared.

We were on the Alltmühl with the Canadians in mid-July and were really looking forward to the meal at the "Gasthof Bauer". And we were not disappointed! The food was very tasty and a lot is made by the hosts themselves. Everything regional and seasonal! The service was very good. We felt very welcome. The atmosphere was also very appropriate. The small beer garden with its shady trees was very inviting. We would love to come back and have already recommended the "Gasthof Bauer".

Very nice host and super friendly service. The food was delicious. Seldom eaten so well. I would love to come back. We were a larger group and there wasn't anyone who wasn't entirely satisfied. Small but cozy beer garden. I can't say anything about the restaurant, it wasn't there.

On a leisurely bike ride, this is a great place to stop for a beer and lunch in the shade - ausgezeichnet!
